When considering a trip to Florida the State provides so many options, and the diversity couldn’t be more different between Miami and Destin, St. Augustine and Orlando, Tampa and Tallahassee, or Key West and Lake Okeechobee, and elsewhere.  Located in the southwestern region of The Sunshine State overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, 5 years and 9 months have passed since we last checked in on Naples, and during our live national broadcast of America’s #1 Travel Radio Show on 2 December 2023 we decided to change that.

Called Florida’s Paradise Coast for it’s top-notch beaches, luxury shopping, upscale resorts and excellent culinary scene — if you enjoy museums, golf, boating/fishing, arts/culture, outdoor fun, history and more — Naples is certainly a location worthy of your travel dollars and a place to go experience.

For the 18th installment of RMWorldTravel’s “Destination Spotlight” we chose to check-in on the 27th State in our nation, and share some of the fun offered in the southwest Florida city of Naples.  Naples, as well as nearby Marco Island and the Everglades provide for a different type of travel experience that features many forms of wildlife, conservancies and preserves.  Certainly the beaches and boating are a big draw for visitors, but the southwest side of Florida offers a more relaxed pace of life than the southeastern portions of the state.  From terrific shopping on 5th Avenue in Naples, to an array of upscale, family oriented accommodations, and long-standing locally-owned restaurants — there’s a reason the locals call this the “Paradise Coast.”  Here’s a link to our discussion with the Executive Director of Naples Tourism — Jack Wert …
